In my Xfce settings → Session and Startup → Advanced configuration, I have both "Launch GNOME services on startup" and "Launch KDE services on startup" checked. Konsole launches and runs for me fine, so I know I can run KDE applications.
Then do the same phone test with the Steam Deck desktop mode. Being wired, you shouldn't be impacted by wireless isolation modes. Under remote input only the cursor movements work. There used to be a button to bring up the keyboard on the phone app and it's not there anymore. I tried enabling all the plugins and fully updated both my PC and the phone apps, still nothing. I sincerely hope this feature wasn't removed, it was amazingly helpful!

The issue I'm having is sending SMS from my computer. I can see all of my messages, sent and received, on my pc, but I can't send new ones from there.
